Foccal Studio

FOCCAL is an independent photography studio based in Patagonia and working around the world.

The photographs are raw and direct: grain, available light, movement, imperfection. Hard black and white, muted colour. People, landscapes and moments that are not staged.

The work has built up over several years of photographing places, people and movement, with the camera used less as a tool for perfection than as a way of keeping traces of what happened.
